Pilates can help increase flexibility
Two of the questions that I ask my clients when they come to me for a session is why they want to take a Pilates class, and what goals they have for themselves. It's important to me to make sure that the workouts I deliver help my clients reach their goals. Not mine; their's.
Recently, I heard about a win.
After my live online mat Pilates session on Sunday, a client told me that she's really enjoying her Pilates time. More specifically she said:
"Being able to touch my toes has been nice! I've seen increased flexibility and I feel like I can be moving for longer."
This client really enjoys hiking and snowshoeing, and simply being outside in nature. She's a gardener as well. Increasing flexibility was her No. 1 goal, and I was so happy to hear that she was seeing results after taking eight classes with me. Plus, now she can be out on a hike longer with her husband.
She also loves the virtual option because she doesn't have to leave the house when it's cold. Can you blame her? It's been so windy here in Gillette, Wyoming lately.
